Student Design Challenge

In spring 2010, The Biomimicry Institute will coordinate its second Student Design Challenge. The challenge will be sponsored once again by Pacific Outdoor Equipment and supported with 3D renderings by Pika Designs.

Spring Semester 2009

The Institute put together the first interdisciplinary and collaborative design team of university students and faculty in spring 2009 and facilitated the design process throughout the semester-long project, from idea to prototype. The resulting product, seen in the images below, is currently sold by POE.
