A standards-aligned engineering curriculum for upper elementary, middle, and high school.

Engineering Inspired by Nature teaches upper elementary, middle and high school students a broad range of engineering topics and skills through a nature-inspired approach.  It is modular and scalable to fit different school curricula needs and structures and can be taught as a stand-alone subject or used to supplement and enrich existing courses.  The middle and high school version includes up to 30-50 hrs of material, the version for upper elementary includes 10-15 hours of material.

Both curricula are offered free to individual public school teachers. To access, register at The Center for Learning with Nature. Sam Stier, founder and director of the Center, has also authored a book that provides an in-depth introduction to teaching nature-inspired engineering.
