Burrow-using spider

According to the photographer: an Amane sp mygal in the family Nemesiidae…i managed to lure this spider out of its burrow with a stick, and at one stage it raised itself bodily out of its burrow, presumably to strike at the prey item it thought it had encountered. disappointed and probably wary after the fact, it proceeded to collapse the entrance to its burrow by drawing in the circle of silk attached to the sand.
